I received this letter but was unsure what to do, the abonnement per month on the new contract is 8,97 euro but on my bill is 7,770 ! Am I missing something here ?
Also my HP cost at the moment is 0.097900 and the new one is 0.1442 and for HC it is currently 0.073800 but the new rate is 0.1182. Can someone please explain how it is 10% cheaper and if they can I will send my letter off. many thanks

Am I missing something here ? It's to do with the tax. HT = the price before tax TTC = the price including tax So your abonnement HT wil be €6.99 HP will be 0.0811 HC will be 0.0664 If you look here: https://www.soregies.fr/01022017br-soreg...38567.html you can download the prices.

They do have some very odd tax's on their bills, but the thing to remember is the difference between HT and TTC. Especially when getting a quote for anything. Always make it clear you want a price TTC otherwise you could end up with all sorts of additions to your final bill.

I've been watching this thread with a certain amount of envy - simply because we hadn't received a letter.
Until two days ago. Voila! the letter arrives, I take a squint through everything and sign. Except.......I haven't sent it off to Soregies because there must be a catch. Why would a power company suddenly offer 10% off electricity bills? No company in the world - especially Soregies which is distantly related to the dubious Edf - would offer this sort of deal without an ultimate endgame in place. Has Soregies been kicked by a financial regulator per chance? Regulator? In France? There has to be a catch to this at the end of the day. Or am I just being a cynical old g** who believes there is no such thing as a free lunch?

They pass on reductions with petrol, diesel and gas so why not electricity? Plus you can always opt out again if you want. So I say go for it and stop thinking British.

Well I'm now in a quandary
I originally ignored my letter thinking there must be a catch - then I saw this thread and almost changed my mind - now I'm thinking British again !

Well I just posted off our Soregies discount form today, but was also not sure whether to or not. Anyway, I just decided, if it goes pear shaped we'll all just blame Fred
