We have just received a letter from Soregies offering us 10% discount on our annual electricity bills. Smile

You can also find out more here: https://www.soregies.fr/01022017br-soreg...38567.html

So far I haven't found a catch so we will be going for it.

If anyone else knows more please post.

Our letter arrived a couple of days ago. I phoned the helpline to ask a few questions. They said that everyone is eligible......."so why the need for people to "opt in" and sign etc ?" ,I asked. They replied that in essence the lower rate means that the contract terms would have changed, hence the need for a new contract.
We have signed and posted it off.

I've just signed up for it on-line.

If you have an "Espace Client" on their website (we use it to give our readings) you can subscribe by clicking "Contactez-nous via notre formulaire contact" on this page if you are logged in: https://www.soregies.fr/01022017br-soreg...38567.html

They have sent me an email to say I have subscribed and they will send me a new contract within 15 days.

Something easy for a change.

Fred - while you're there...
Where do you enter your readings? I have an espace client log in but I've not been able to find the "correct my reading" section.

I'm not sure if you have to let them know that's the way you want to do it. I seem to remember them setting it up for us in Montmorillon and showing us how it worked. And we have to let them know on the date they say on our last bill. *If we miss the date they estimate it.

If you look on your bill were it says: "Vos informations pratiques" it gives the date you need to tell them your reading.

Pour recevoir une facture établie à partir de votre consommation réelle, communiquez-nous vos index entre le **/**/2017 et le **/**/2017 sur http://www.soregies.fr ou au 05 49 44 70 70 en tapant votre identifiant PCT **********

I just log in to my espace client on the date given and click "Communiquer Vos Index" I then enter the HP and HC and wait for the bill to arrive by post.

If that doesn't help try the Montmorillon office they will show you how it's done.

*Tip: We pay by cheque at Montmorillon and in the Winter we give them two cheques 50/50 on each to help spread the cost of a bigger bill. Wink

Thanks Fred. I don't see that option when I log in so I'll pop into the office. No sign of my discount letter yet either but thank you for the tip-off. I'll have a go at arranging that online if it's not here by the end of the week.

Thanks for this.

I can't see the problem and it appears you can switch back easily. We've not had a letter but I have just signed up to the new contract on their website using the link provided above. Worked a treat.

Chris
