Decorative Stones/ Gravel

Me again, sorry for all of the questions. Has anyone any recommendations where to buy 1 or 2 tonnes of decorative gravel/ stones for the front garden? We just went to Big Mat in Montmorillon and they wanted to charge 157 euros for a 1 tonne bag, including delivery. The delivery price was the off putting bit. It was 78 euros for that and we’re only down the road in La Trimouille.

We’re sorted now. Ended up biting the bullet and paying slightly more for a 1.5 tonne bag at Chausson. Really nice people there and very helpful.

I'm glad you're sorted, Jane. If you ever need gravel etc again it may be worth calling Irribarren, as they seem to do most of the quarrying around these parts. I managed to share a load with a neighbour once which made the delivery charge more bearable!
