Hi

I posted on the old forum as to our antique oil boiler and received two really helpful replies ... which have vanished into cyberspace with the demise of the site.

We are in the Uk at the moment but will be back soon and were looking to get the boiler serviced so can someone (I think the Admiral did it before) suggest an oil boiler man - prefereably with a few words of English please?

From memory, the two suggestions before were in Montmorillon itself and a very old, and very well rspected chap in Lassac les Chateau but my memory may be totally wrong on that score.

Thanks

I remember it I told you about a man in Haims. I hadn't used him myself but he was highly recommended in the village when we rented there.

I can't remember his exact name but it was Eric Desauc or something like that, if you head north out of Haims past the cemetery take your first left and he was on your left at the end of the road.

I also remember Admiral did give you one, but I cant remember where. No doubt he will see this.

Fred.

That's him, like I say though I haven't used him, but a lot of people in the village gave him a good name. I have met him and he does speak a little English and is a nice bloke.

Good Luck.

Beauchesne in Montmorillon is the best, as this is the speciaity. They are really good workers and are not expensive. You will find their details on line or Pages Jaunes. Good Luck!france

La Brasserie beat me to it.

I always use Beauchesne in Montmorillon. Fast, efficient and really friendly.

Probably the same mob I recommended on the old forum. Ho hum...old age etc..Whistle

Their number is 05 49 91 25 26.

Bonne chance.

We have now used them twice. Their guy seems to understand my French and they have worked wonders both times. Thumb Definitely to be recommended.
