Building regs for timber frame roofs?

Hello and Happy New Year!

A friend of ours has kindly offered to do our timber framing calculations for the new roof on our barn, however, he says he needs the local regulations???

Does anyone know where I might find these for our area - or even where I might start in terms of getting them?

I'd recommend asking your Mairie as a first port of call. They will be able to point you in the right direction.
