I had the same problem. It took about 3 weeks before I could actually access the meter but since then it's been working perfectly. When registering on the linkyparsrd website I had to wait for them to send me a user name and password by post - it took a week or so. Have you received them yet? Best in mind that you can't set your own user name and password initially, you have to use the ones they allocate.
I've found Soregies to be very bad at answering emails, but if you can pop into their Montmorillon office, the people at the welcome desk are excellent at dealing with things there and then - including Linky queries. Highly recommended.
