I don't think I can be of much help here.
If you have the ability to charge batteries, I have tried a few rechargeable makes over the years, but now buy exclusively Ryobi. Their One+ system uses the same battery for all the tools, from drills to leafblowers, chainsaws to routers.
My only experience with petrol powered tools suggests that if you want a generator, Honda are always highly recommended. For a petrol powered chainsaw, I was advised that Stihl is the one to go for. I bought a 35cc Stihl about 6 years ago and use it for feeling and logging about 4 trees a year and cutting planks etc from the lengths. It still works like new.
Stihl and Ryobi are stocked by Mr Bricolage and Leroy Merlin.
