planting fruit trees?

Ooh - the world is your tropical paradise.
Peaches, apricots, nectarines, walnuts to name but 4! I'd ask at the local plant centre what they recommend.

I don't know of any garden centres near la Trimouille, but I use the Agriflor on the D10/D729 just outside L'Isle Jourdain. They are full of good advice and have large and varied stocks.

That sounds fantastic - I did have a peach tree, but it always looked sad and never thrived.

Will take a visit to Agriflor when we are over next week.

There is an English couple who own La Jardinerie at St Leger Magnazeix. Very helpful and sell all sorts and their prices and quality of products is good.
