Don't expect an awful lot to happen on a Sunday. The big LeClerc supermarket in Montmorillon is open on Sunday - until 1130am and the Super U about a mile away until midday. Life here doesn't get much racier than that.
Also, if you run out of your favourite cheroots etc on a Sunday be warned the tabacs close at midday.
Sunday opening boulangeries close at about 1300 and if you run out of wine, beer etc on a Sunday afternoon then
you can't get any. Although I do know of a source..............
Monday, in some respects ain't much better, just being part of an extended weekend. But hey! It's the sort of lifestyle most of us are here for and with a bit of knowledge and forward planning life can be very simple.
