I think I'll give the real meat loving place a miss,

As AroundMontmorillon's resident vegetarian (all web sites must have one thanks to an EU directive) I'll try to add some alternatives to the "nature, red in tooth and claw" establishments!

I tried ordering a veggie burger in a restaurant in Montmorillon, I may have said in the past. When it arrived it was basically a lump of warmish cheese, with some salad in a bread roll
