We've done the same as what you're about to do. We bought our house in La Trimouille last November. We've only managed a few trips over since then, so it's going to be a slow process doing the place up. We have the same plan as you though..holiday home for now and eventually the big move. Can't come quickly enough. I'm still getting advice on here, but if I can help you in any way just let me know.
