Gas cookers - fitter recommendations

We have replacement burners for the hobs, so will need to add those and fit a new hose, regulator and connector. Doing that may well be within the capabilities of a confident DIYer but as the consequences of getting it wrong could be... severe, I'd rather use a professional. Could anyone please recommend a gas fitter?

I rather like your use of ".....severe" a  masterly understatement.

As well as the "severe" consequences I have a funny feeling your house insurers will refuse to pay out to repair the (considerable) damage done.  I'm pretty sure all major residential gas installations in France have to be carried out by an approved fitter much the same way as Britain with CORGI registered fitters.
