I think your local farmer has a good point.
Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrm now let me think. Do I want to hump a couple of trailer loads of top soil from your garden into my trailer ? I'm thinking it's probably got turf on top that would need skimming off first. Do I know a shovel-equipped working party ? It's not looking good.
I appreciate the offer Brian, but humping it off at the other end is going to give me enough exercise. I was rather hoping someone was having some work done or had a heap to get rid of and there was still a loader on site that could chuck it in for me.
30 Years ago I would have taken you up on the offer, but although it sounds ideal for what I want I think I will have to decline as I don't think I'm up to it.
