You need to find out the cheval fiscal (CV) that will be on the existing carte grise, then it's that figure times the Taxe régionale for example you will see (Poitou-Charentes €41:80)
Round that figure up add the €2:50 and you should have the final figure
But if you go into the préfecture in Montmorillon they are very helpful and will probably do most of the paperwork for you, or at least tell you exactly what is needed including the fee. They speak English if your French isn't up to it.
