Hi all, we're next back over from 26th July until 11th August. Apart from Les Herolles on the 29th, does anyone know of anything exciting/ worth a visit going on in the area during these times? 
Anywhere apart from the Crocodile place in Civaux, that is. I swore if I went there one more time they would hear me screaming all the way to Rouen, but looks like I'll be eating my words and taking another trip there this Summer.
Last year we ended up joining a parade in St Benoit by accident, which turned out to be a good laugh. I can not remember what date that was on. Not sure if they do that every year. Does anybody have any info on that too?

There's quite a lot going on over the summer. The Sud Vienne Poitou tourist website has a useful calendar of events.

For some reason, they seem to have missed off the event of the year, taking place in Le Dorat in the first week of July: The World Sheep Shearing Championships.

Does anyone know of anything else out-of-the-ordinary?
