Kayaking / Rafting around Montmorillon

Morning,

I'm wondering if anyone can recommend the bast place to go rafting or kayaking please?

I contacted https://www.evasion64.fr/ but they've said that they're not operating this year (I believe due to water levels - but that could be my poor translation!)

I have also found this place https://www.cpa-lathus.asso.fr/ which seems to offer a couple of options .

I've seen people kayaking in the centre of Montmorillon, but not sure where they've come from. If you know of any more companies please let me know.

Hi James,
I haven't used CPA Lathus myself but they have a very good reputation

We have gone kayaking on the Vienne at Moussac - it's less that 30 minutes from Montmorillon. They're very good.

How's the wedding planning going?

Thanks Brian, I'll give them a call too. Was it challenging or was it pretty steady going?

The wedding is nearly there thank you. We've got all of the major things in place thankfully, it's just the small touches now. We are having Marc Gemillon for the photos, so fingers crossed!

How is everything in France?

They offered everything from a gentle paddle to a major workout! The Vienne is a very scenic river, too. Very broad and slow moving but with some swift rapids in places.
I'm glad your plans are going well. I'm sure Marc will look after you!
