Really recommend going here for a few hours out, in Civaux. Well worth 12 euros per head, very clean and the crocodiles were really well looked after and so were the other creatures in there.
I'm not a big fan of animals being kept in captivity, but have to say I did enjoy our visit there. There was a cafe in there, but we never went to that, so can't comment, and a gift shop selling all the usual overpriced tat, so the ideal place to take kids or grandkids. Six of us visited aged from 13 up to er  Whistle and the day was a hit with us all.

Plus you get to feel the rays from the power station too  eek

Oops, never noticed this had already been recommended. We saw the albino crocodile too. Nearly missed it because it was sprawled on a light coloured surface  Big Grin

No problem Jane it's good to have more threads and you''re welcome to add to Must see around the Montmorillon area as well if you want.

So carry on and start as many threads as you like giving your experiences, it helps keep the forum active.  Thumb

We keep thinking of going to visit the crocodiles but never seem to get around to it. For some reason I have a feeling I have seen reduced ticket price for locals, does anyone know more?
