hello everybody , when buying a new car from a dealer do you just wait for the carte gris to be posted to you ? we were given WW plates by the dealer . thanks

When you buy from a dealership, they will generally carry out all of the required admin, including notifying ANTS of the need for a carte gris to be sent out. However, you'll be scuppered if you don't get one so if I were you I'd contact the dealer and ask them for confirmation.

I found dealing online with ANTS a nightmare, even for a simple change of address, so for sure follow this advice to chase the dealer. Cheers Peter
