As I'm currently going through with a purchase, the conditions are of 'slight' interest to me. We're going to be between Confolens and L'Isle Jourdain, so not too far from Monty. How was it - I've heard that the worst of it, as expected, was over on the coast - but 'fresher/local' reports would be helpful.

I`m guessing you`ll be somewhere like Abzac ; if so 50 mins from us (Brigueil le Chantre). It`s a super region.....you`ll love it.

Yep - Abzac's the area.

We know it very well - lived in the region for four years, before returning back overseas to earn a few more centimes - coming back in the new year.
