Oven door removal

I need help removing our new Electrolux oven door. All our old ones have been easy, just pull up a couple of clips and lift the door off.

But this one is driving me nuts, I've been in touch with the maker and they just say if it's a warranty problem I can call out a recommended dealer, if it's not they recommend getting a professional to look at it.   

I've checked the internet and youtube, but can't find anything with these type of hinges, so I'm hoping someone here has one similar.



The instructions say " open the door, pull the sliders to the front till you hear a click, close the door till you hear another click and lift the door off"

Here is the slider to the front and you can see by the dents I've tried but it just won't come off and I'm afraid of breaking the hinges.



If anyone has those type of hinges and know how to get the door off please give me a dummy's guide or point me to a video.
