Full Version: Soregies and SRD???

Good day all,

I'm a bit baffled. Our electricity has always been supplied by Soregies. I can access my account via soregies.fr and send them my readings, view my contract details and bills, and make payment.

I recently had a Linky meter installed, having been given advance warning by Soregies. It appears that there is link between Soregies and a company called SRD Energies who actually fit and (I presume) manage the Linky meters. I set up an account at LinkyparSRD.fr and was able to see my daily consumption as re[ported by the Linky.

But... the daily readings stopped 3 days ago (last report 6th November), with the website reporting 'no data available'. As a bill is due around now, I looked on the Soregies website, where I was informed that I no longer have an electricity contract with Soregies. That's news to me as everything still appears to be working!

Has anyone else experienced this? Have Soregies merged with SRD? It seems very strange that there has been no communication about this by post, email or within the relevant websites. I'd love to hear about anyone else's experience.

Brian
And here's an update, just a minute after pressing 'post'.

I just looked at soregies.fr again and it's inaccessible, with the message "Le site est en cours de maintenance. Merci de réessayer ultérieurement. Nous nous excusons pour la gêne occasionnée."

So with luck, at least some of this is down to the site having a hiccough. On the other hand, there is still the SRD situation... Wall
Hi Brian,

a quick explanation

you have a company generating / selling electricity (Utility in the US)   , the other one is distributing,

SRD is the distribution & installation network of SOREGIES (Utility)

EDF (Utility) has ENEDIS as distribution operator

don't ask me why ...if my understanding is correct this is a kind of EU anti-trust law, still it's a mystery to me why both companies are financially linked (SRD seems to be a subsidiary of SOREGIES)

data is sent to SRD through "Linky" then to your SOREGIES account, data is the same, display different

the Linky SRD "tool" is down form time to time for period in between 1 to 4 days...

the ENEDIS doesn't provide a better service , sounds like this is the same API with a different MMI

You learn a lot when working in a french NPP ?
Thanks, Michael.

The Soregies website is now up again and I can see some of my consumption data.
I see what you mean about the Linky SRD site. I'm surprised that they didn't call it Flaky as that might be more accurate!
