Around Montmorillon - Fishing lakes/ponds near us

Hi everyone Bonjour

Does anyone know of or can recommend any good fishing lakes/ponds where you can pay on the day?

My usual spot is Plaisance i have also used Persac and Lac Lussac but would love to hear from fellow anglers if there are any and i am sure there will be that i have missed nearby .

There's a lake in Adriers - the plan d'eau - which offers fishing. There's an article about it in Nouvelle Republique here.

Did you try Chapelle Viviers lake ? trouts / carps , good spot, a lot of shade in summer time, large parking place , BBQ available locally to grill your catches Wink

Apparently, the lake at the camping ground in Moulismes opens for fishing on Easter Saturday.

And this site seems to be a directory of fishing - just enter the place of interest to see the details.

There is a fishing lake Carrieres des Herolles at Les Herolles part of the commune of Coulonges.You can buy a day pass for 5 euros or a year pass for 3 lines for 60 euros available at the mediatheque of Coulonges or at Alternagro in Les Herolles,hope this may be of help.
