Around Montmorillon

Recently bought a second home in Montmorillon. Loving it so far, but looking to connect with folks. Been busy this trip setting up house. Looking forward to becoming part of the community (and improving my French)

Thanks for the welcome! I am in town, near Place St Martial. This has been my first extended visit since my purchase late last year. 
So far so good - there are definitely some differences/oddities, but working it out.

Hoping to possibly connect in person with anyone interested/available  when I return in a few months.

Indeed! For me, a walk to the shop (note: singular) takes 90 minutes  
But I do have a big garden
