Around Montmorillon

My partner bought his house in Saint Savin earlier this year, we are thinking of making the permanent move in Spring next year, IF all goes to plan! Once we've sorted minor details such as work... planning, learning more of the language  

We are over again next weekend and hoping to meet up with roofers & builder to get a better idea on how much we'll need to start us off.  Hoping to learn from those of you who have already made the move, or are further down the renovation line.

Saint Savin is a lovely town and I hope you will be very happy there.

Hi from me too, We're still based in the UK and only manage to get over to France a handful of times each year, so work on our houses is slow, as we're doing it ourselves. Will be happy to help with anything you need to know though.
