Has anyone built their own house around this area?

We are thinking of a new build two bed bungalow and was wondering if anyone had done this. We have the land and could do most of the interior stuff including insulation, tiling, kitchen, bathroom, water, and electrics.

I'm just asking for peoples experience of self build, and a rough idea of costs for a 2 bed bungalow of footings, walls, roof, doors and windows ready for us to finish.

Thanks.

Don't be daft, with my dodgy feet I wouldn't be able to walk on the floor. Tongue

Hang on, don't dismiss the idea, you could buy some cement and go around all the round lumpsTongue[/align], very sturdy construction, I have wondered why nobody has come up with a cement version, could be a real winner!
