Carpet and Lino (or is it called Vinyl today), Rolleyes we've found some at Poitiers in the big Brico's but does anyone know if there is a dedicated store.

Also has anyone purchased on-line in the UK and had it shipped over, it does seem expensive here, and not a lot of choice.

Thanks.
We have used Saint-Maclou in Poitiers in the past.

Big range of carpets, rugs and lino - or vinyles as our French chums like to call it.

Back in the day it was free delivery to this area but doubtless times have changed.

It's on the same estate as Conforama, Darty etc. Take the first right - as though you're going to Conforama - off the big hideous hell-for-leather roundabout, take next left opposite Conforama and follow the road round past the big bathroom place. Voila!

Nice restaurant just behind it as well if you needed a spurious factoid thrown. It's just that after a hard morning negotiating a carpet store and all it's myriad foibles, you might need fortifying refreshments.

Just trying to help......................Whistle

Thanks Admiral, we had to go up to Poitiers yesterday so you posted just in time. Thumb

After one thing another we did have time to find it as we know that area, (never noticed it before), unfortunately we didn't have much time for a good prod around but there does seem a lot of choice. I asked about delivery and they said €50 eek If we spend around say €400 - €500? Yes sir but it's still €50 delivery.

Have to go back up at the end of the month so may have another look, if anyone knows of any others please let me know.

Thanks.

Fred.
