Around Montmorillon - French bed selection for sale

I have a nice selection of old French beds for sale they are all the same size around 1.9m Long x 1.3m Wide. There are 5 in total and come with mattresses.[/align]

The mattresses are in good condition and will be given to the purchaser on first come first served basis, so to get the best one get in first. Wink

This one has to be the best as it has it's own sprung base, and is a lovely Sleigh or Boat Bed with small wheels for easy moving. It's got to be worth €200 do you think ?

Bed number 3 has the same base as the last one and although it's made of metal, it has a wood look to it. Don't ask me why it's metal made to look like wood, I don't know. But there is no rust. Big Grin

Bed number 4 again has the same base as number 5, but this one has a metal frame and wooden head & base board which have been carved. €100

The other beds all have the same type of adjustable metal base that looks a bit like chainmaille as in this photo of the least attractive one Bed number 5.

Remember they all come with a mattress of your choice, and I can help with delivery if needed. I've got a rough idea of the prices from others for sale on the internet, and will sell one or all as a job lot if you want to make an offer.

Reason for selling: We have enough King size beds of our own and one is hand made so we will be using those, these ones will be taken apart and put in storage till sold which I'm sure they will especially if taken back to the UK.

They have all been looked after well, and there are also some pillows and covers if you want them. (Even a nice Red Candelwick one) Oh those were the days. Night Night. [Image: sleep.gif]

No they were left in the house we just took on, along with some other bits and bobs. I may be posting more stuff once we've decided what to keep, there's a dirty great big Free Storage Heater if you want it.

I'm like you I like lot's of space in my pit, I did think of putting two together or cutting them up to make some seats. But Mrs Fred has banned me from doctoring furniture after I decided the Coffee Table was just a little to high to rest my feet on. (It's the perfect height now in my opinion) Rolleyes
