Scaffolding Thingy for outside work painting, windows, satellite dish, etc.
Not sure how long I will need it, but has anyone got one preferably to borrow
(In exchange for a bottle of wine or two)
Or maybe you have one for sale at a reasonable price, or exchange for something I have ?
Failing that does anyone know how much they are to rent and where you can get them.
Thanks.
Fred.

Hi Fred,
Did you ever get the answers to these questions?
We are looking to replace some roof tiles in the next few weeks, and then at some point strip the whole roof for repair.
Is it possible to hire scaffolding?, or buy used?
Thanks
Kit
I've never found a hire service but there's usually quite a bit of scaffolding for sale on leboncoin.
Thanks Brian,
Just spent too many hours on the joys of Leboncoin - who knew!
Now wondering if we might make our own from wood as some of it is pretty pricy.

In the Far East they
regularly use bamboo as scaffolding - but it's specially grown for the purpose.
I don't think I'd really want to compromise on scaffolding as the consequences of any failure could be somewhat major
Could you engage a local roofer for the job? They tend to have their own scaff and he/she may be happy to let you act as labourer/assistant to speed up the job and keep costs down...
